JAMS AND MARMALADES
The jams were born from the need to preserve fruit, harvest in season, so as to be able to enjoy it in periods when there was scarcity: cooking and the presence of sugar, ensured a long shelf life, otherwise impossible in times without refrigeration systems.
The difference between jams and marmalades lies in the fact that marmalades are exclusively based on citrus fruits, while the jams can be based on any fruit.
They are low in protein and fat free. For their richness in vitamins, especially vitamin A, B1, B2, and mineral salts (potassium, sodium, of phosphorus, magnesium, etc.) they are suitable for breakfast and for those who practice sports.
Our jams and marmalades are made according to tradition, according to ancient peasant recipes, without preservatives and dyes.
They are available in flavors: Oranges, Mandarins, Bergamot, Cedar, Lemon and Figs.
